Day 12: Be Who You Were Meant To Be!

Let me ask you a question. Are you comfortable being YOU? Here is another for you. Have you ever stopped showing your “full” personality around others? And Why? Most of it is due to insecurity about who you are and what you represent.
This awful thing called insecurity seems to sneak up on us, stick with us and causes us to question who we are. But today, it is time to squash it! Other people’s opinion of you is NOT your business. Your personality is unique to you. So, it is time for you to shine and be who you were meant to be.

How do we overcome insecurity? How do we get comfortable being ourselves? We simply CHOOSE to be that way. Even when it seems like you are out of “the norm” of your surroundings. If you are too much for them….it’s time to move on. Amazing people are surrounded by amazing people.
Exercise 1:

Write down and identify why you are feeling insecure. Is it due to an event? Is it due to a person? See what steps you can take to face what makes you feel that way.

Exercise 2:
Surround yourself around positive people. Take inventory of the people that you are around and communicate with on a regular basis. Who are the people that make you feel insecure or uneasy. It’s time to say farewell! Keep the people in your life that make you feel good.

Exercise 3:

Separate yourself from the things….and people that serve as a trigger do you to not feel confident. So things that you enjoy. Choose activities that make you happy! Focus on what you can control. And that is your happiness.
