Day 5: To Save or Not to Save

Can the words “save” and “mom” be in the same sentence without feeling anxious?  Between daycare, diapers, dance classes, karate lessons, school supplies, college expenses, and cost of living, the mere thought of saving is out of the question. But what about saving for the things that YOU want to do? It’s important that moms do at least one thing that involves taking care of herself.

At the beginning of this 14-Day  challenge, I recommended that you began to research different resources that can help you make. Revisit those sites. create a Mom Savings Account to helo Make a savings plan to go to the spa, buy the expensive pair of shoes that you have always wanted. That way, you will not feel guilty about buying something for you. A mom who plans for herself is a #positivemom!

And remember, behind the smile of a mother lies a story, a story of joy, a story of hurt, a story of happiness and a story where she has felt alone. It is our jobs to uplift each other and help each other understand that our worth as mothers is immeasurable. Have a great day today, be sure to connect with me!
